Silvie Janotta Forsyth is an artist residing in North Moravian Region of Czech Republic.

Although she was born and raised in central Europe, she was blessed to call Western Canada her home for a number of years. That is where she discovered her love for nature and wildlife and the passion that comes along with the need to capture it in a painting. The subject matter broaden over the years and she enjoys painting landscape as well as portraits and the figure.

Now back in her homeland, Silvie Janotta Forsyth is inspired not only by its picturesque country side but also by all the historical buildings and devotes much of her creative time to painting outside in plein air setting.
